Eh, a ponytail is easy.
But, yeah, back in my younger days when I let it stay loose when I wasn’t at work, and now when I’m feeling all sexy, it can get in the way of things.
Less now, what with the balding, but still.
Tbh though, the only time I ran into heavy infiltration while eating was when there was a lot of air movement. Since neither my Jr high or high school was air conditioned, that was pretty much all warm days, and the cold days where they needed air flow. Those ceiling fans could move.
I have fairly straight hair once it’s past shoulder length, so that might help. It’s super fine though, so it doesn’t take much to get it moving.
My beard doesn’t get in the way at all. My mustache, however, when I let it reach soup strainer length and don’t use wax or balm, sandwiches are a laugh :)
Well, that amount of deviled eggs is weird.
That being said, there’s some differences involved.
Moisture, size, seasoning, and chewability.
Deviled eggs have the dryest part removed and moistened. This makes eating two of them easier than the whole egg would be.
With the addition of moisture comes the ability to chew the result easier, so you don’t look like an idiot while eating. You don’t have to take a bite and roll it around your mouth while trying to get it into small enough pieces, mixed with saliva so you can swallow.
The seasoning comes in by making it taste like something you want to savor, to keep in your mouth longer.
And, since they’re half an egg, they can be popped in all at once, or in two clean bites, without spilling fragments. In either case, you aren’t sitting/standing/dancing/masturbating holding a partly eaten egg in your hand as long. This means that it looks like you’re eating less than you are, even when having the equivalent of a half dozen eggs. So it doesn’t register as someone eating six eggs, it registers as someone snacking casually.
You forgot one bottleneck. The bottleneck.
If you can get a copy of the apk, it still works fine. Might have to jump through some hoops on some Samsung devices though. They started bring dicks about old apps. But they work fine, it’s just getting it installed.
It was always a pointless and stupid thing to begin with. It’s schoolyard bullshit. There’s way better things to call him.
Jeez, lots of things.
I’m still friends with most of my exes that were longish term (at least a year together). So there’s no bad feelings that would make me reject an item, and out of those, no longing for them. There are a few that if I had anything from them, I would have donated it to something, but not many; obviously not hung up on those.
The main one is a teddy bear.
Which may seem weird, but there’s a reason. When I got it, my dog was young. She would normally tear up any stuffed toy playing with it, and the household rule is/was that if it’s on the floor, it belongs to the dog.
But my dog, out of all the stuff she’d cover in slobber and love to death, wouldn’t do it to that one. No idea why.
But that’s not why it’s still important to me.
Well after me and that ex parted ways, I became disabled. This came along with a shit ton of pain, which had me contemplating exercising my right to death.
That toy, my dog would bring me when I was crying. At the time, the bear sat on the headboard, tucked into a little nook. I’d be balled up and hurting, and my dog would try to make me feel better. It wouldn’t always work. When her being her wonderful self wasn’t enough, she’d get the bear and bring it to me, and push it into my face until I took it, and then she’d curl up with me and sigh.
The bear sits on a bookshelf now, because the nook it sat in is now my wife’s nook to keep things handy. But it’s where I can look over and see it.
Now, it doesn’t remind me of my ex at all. It reminds me of one of the best dogs I’ve ever met.
Realistically, you’re lucky you didn’t. Excessive force is a thing, and you’d have trouble convincing a jury that his dick was a threat to your life.
A punch to the jaw, sure. Even a kick to the dick, no problem. But once you stop swinging your dick here, you know damn good and well that actually using a weapon on some perv is not going to end well for you. Some places, just brandishing it could get you in more trouble than he would get into for wagging weenies.
Also, dude. A leatherman? As a weapon? You’d have been better off leaving the blade shut and using it to reinforce your hand for a punch, or using it like a yawara. You go trying to actually use that blade on someone, and you could lose a finger.
On average, yeah.
But you gotta remember, there’s a fresh wave of r/efugees coming in, and there was one not that long ago.
Lemmy is mostly people that left Reddit, rather than having been a separate culture of its own. So there’s plenty of the same things that make reddit a difficult place to be.
Lemmy tends to be more forgiving overall, outside of the politically focused instances, and some of the more… assertive belief systems that have communities and instances.
As others have already said, lemmy.ml is a dedicated leftist space, and it’s hard left, even outright tankie at times (far left and authoritative). So you don’t want to go there about politics, you won’t have a good time.
Lemmy.world catches a lot of hell because some of the mods and admins are a tad whack, but the users are typically not going to fuck with you.
Sh.itjust.works is probably the closest in vibe to reddit, good and bad.
Those are still, iirc, the three biggest instances. So you’ll have more users, which means the percentage of assholes in the human race equals those instances having higher numbers of assholes, but that really is the issue.
My advice to anyone new on lemmy is the same as it was for new reddit users. Hang back a while. Stay chill. Observe the culture of lemmy as a whole, and any community you want to participate in.
It is the internet though. People will say shit they’d never dare to in person. But I’d say there’s less of it here than most forums. And, I also tend to see more compassion too
Well, that’s kinda the point.
If you assume that all we get is what we have while we’re alive, then that life becomes the point
A lot of people that reach the conclusions you have, opt out. They move into a commune, they go vagabond, they may choose to just flit between jobs and find whatever fun is in them.
Or, they may decide to become focused on finding purpose within the world that is, the societal structures as they exist. Some of those devote themselves to service, or find jobs that they believe make life better for others.
Some stay in the framework of things, but do the bare minimum and focus on their off time their purpose.
The point of it, from that point of view where this is all we get, is to find what makes staying alive worth it.
It isn’t like the certainty of no afterlife removes your ability to live and love and do good things. It can make it harder to bear the bad things of life as well, but that’s anything really.
The point is what you decide it is.
Eh, that’s more of a decision for the community as a whole, and I don’t use the community.
But, I still think it defeats the purpose.
That has absolutely nothing to do with what I said.
However, to respond to it as a separate subject, there’s plenty of reasons to pay for content.
The primary one is ethics. When you’re paying for content via an intermediary site, you can improve two things. First, that the person is of age legally. There’s ways around it, but the people that would typically bypass that would also be less likely to be using an intermediary site like onlyfans, they’ll be elsewhere.
Second, consent. Again, while it isn’t a perfect guarantee, and there are cases of models being pressured or even forced into doing it, it isn’t the majority.
So, by paying up, you have a much better chance of enjoying your content without concern about the two biggest horrors of pornography.
Then, you run into quality and specificity.
While still not a guarantee, onlyfans models are well aware that they have to produce material that is clear and easy to enjoy, so there’s less selfies in dirty mirrors, or pics taken on fifteen year old crappy cameras. Onlyfans is also fairly well known for models that can and will do customized content since they’re getting paid.
So, by paying, you have the highest chance of getting materials that are going to not only be what you want, but can be enjoyed for a very long time because technology is good enough that even mid tier phones produce images that can be zoomed in to one’s heart’s content.
You can’t neglect the pride factor either. Some folks have this idea that paying for it means they’re better than people that don’t. It’s a dumb idea, but the are people that think that way
I can keep going, but I doubt that’s useful for you.
The point of all that is to break down the mystery of it for you, not to convince you to pay for anything. I don’t know what your motivations are when looking at erotic content; nor what your beliefs are regarding it other than being dubious about paying for it.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying free content at all. To the contrary, I think it’s a wonderful thing that there are places where people that enjoy showing their bodies can do so without any of the hassles and encumbrances that come with doing it for money. I think it’s a beautiful thing that there’s people willing to share their bodies visually, period. I dislike porn, but the beauty and variety of the human form is amazing, and when it’s celebrated, it makes me happy
And you can definitely use forums that do “gone wild” content in the way that the original post is about, where it’s just users sharing their bodies with no problem at all. That’s what they’re there for. But it does have drawbacks.
Yeah, I’m echoing the sentiment.
I ain’t mad at anyone making money as best they can in the system we’re stuck in.
But it shouldn’t be everywhere. Some communities/subs are about people just sharing that they feel like, no ulterior motives at all. If that’s not what you’re doing, you shouldn’t be there
Those exist. No bullshit.
There’s a version for sports, to apply tension over muscles. There’s also a kind that works as an emergency suture. They’re a bit smaller than the sports ones though
They did, they’re also saying that it’s a bad idea
Wait, wait, you don’t play d&d 40 hours a week? What are you wasting your time doing?
And, in case you aren’t aware, that’s called an analogy (or whatever the right word is, I haven’t been awake long enough to do anything but sit on this toilet, so you get what you get).
It’s used to draw attention to the similarities between two things that are otherwise different. This is a common rhetorical tool to highlight a different way of thinking about a subject.
I’m fairly sure you were just bring snarky, but just in case you weren’t, or have English as a second language or whatever, that’s what I was doing, pointing out that even if you remove work from the matter, we all still have times that are and are not acceptable for off topic conversation that prevents others from doing the task.
Look, if you agree to come over to my house to play d&d, everyone gets here, and all you talk about is your jock itch, do you think you’ll be invited back?
Like it or not, a job is when you have agreed to perform a set of tasks. In a capitalist system, that means for money. But in any other system, you’d still be wasting time that’s supposed to be spent doing the thing you agreed to do.
You could be a member of a collective or cooperative, and if you’re still babbling about something outside the task you’re there to handle, you’ll end up being reassigned or otherwise censured.
Yeah, fuck capitalism, and fuck corporate bullshit. Just don’t pretend that agreeing to do a task, and then not doing it while you natter on about an unrelated subject is acceptable on your end either. If you need personal time to handle any emotional upkeep, that’s a separate issue, but being expected to stay on task is agnostic of framework
Being real?
Half-assed motherfuckers that talk big shit, but won’t do a damn thing when someone else is taking the risk of trying to organize shit. Like, motherfucker, a year ago, you were all rage against the machine, now you’re fucking Taylor Swift.
Don’t talk shit out at the shooting range like you’re Mr Che Guevara jr, then be all piss baby when someone tries to get something moving. Wah, I can’t. Wah, maybe next weekend. Wah, maybe if you can get more people.
Fucking useless motherfuckers.
Like, you punk-ass little wimp, GTFO. Calling motherfuckers bootlicker and capitalist pigs until there’s an possibility of doing something. Fuck you, and fuck everyone like you
Calibre is the answer to pretty much all ebook questions, including this one.
