Up for it means you’re enthusiastic about making an effort. Down for it means you are fully committed to a course of action. It’s a slight nuance, but there is poetry in precision.
Musk massively overpayed for Twitter. They wouldn’t have sold the company, but Musk made a ridiculous offer and they accepted. Then he tried to back out of it, and the court forced him to follow through. But he didn’t have enough money to match his offer, so he had to find some investors willing to bail him out because they wanted him to kill the platform for them.
When you ask them out, they say no.
Don’t waste mental energy looking for reason or competence. They did it because nobody can stop them, and they think they can gain money or power by doing it. That’s always the motivation, and it doesn’t make a difference to the response. We simply need to stop them.
Good point, no it won’t. You’re probably better off with a live-stream and remote recording for that. I wouldn’t trust a commercial app run on a public cloud service to protect your videos.
