I don’t think they are supposed to taste bad. They are just an alternative to nicotine gum. You can get them at pharmacies. I don’t like the gum because it’s bright yellow and leaves little stains in my teeth so I got the lozenges this time instead.
They do taste absolutely terrible though. And yeah, cigarettes smell awful but for whatever reason, I like the taste of them. I quit those a long time ago specifically for the bad smell though.
Just quit nicotine again for the 3rd total time. Sucks a lot. And I feel like the nicotine pouches are significantly more addictive than cigarettes or tobacco ever were.
My secret this time was nicotine lozenges. They taste so terrible that it even overcame the positive association I have with nicotine. Good luck out there!
Best advice, dont break 2 laws at once. If you are going to drink alcohol underage, dont drive. If you are going to smoke weed, dont do it while you are trespassing somewhere etc etc.
Moved into my own house again recently. I would like to get a lot of stuff automated like I had in my previous house.
Unfortunately, theres a lot if old wiring here and most switches have no neutrals in the box.
What is the current best option for smart switches (ideally dimmers) that dont require a neutral wire?
I’d prefer a non-wifi solution that doesnt require a proprietary hub but it seems like there are limited options anyway and I am having trouble finding almost any good options that dont require a neutral.
I would say most of the customers of Framework are the kinds of people who espouse the kind of antifascist ideology that that guy that started the thread does.

Been there. Reason I didnt is because other people would bear the shit if I did. Im in a much better place at the moment but I felt exactly the way ypu do about the world.
There is a fuckload of propaganda, and a lot of it is meant to make you lose hope at ever seeing the system change. That makes the opinion that things can and might improve and you are going to be a part of it, no matter how small the most radical thing of all.
Genuinely what helped me through it was volunteering. Everything is shit wall to wall BUT this one tiny thing is better than it was because of me. Its a sustaining feeling for sure.

The main point is that the disk controller gets exponentially more complicated as capacity increases and that the problem isnt with space for the nand chips bit that the controller would be too power hungry or expensive to manufacture for disks bigger than around 4tb.
