The green bit? In a word: no. I mean, we can eat them but they don’t taste great.

  • Nope. I eat the sweet part my guinea pigs get to eat the top bite.

  • I think people use those for tea so they must be reasonably tasty. However, the ones in the store look pretty rough. I’d eat the greans on a fresh one though

    • Kiwis and strawberries are easy. So are mangoes. Oranges and lemons are also pretty good, especially with salt.

My favorite fruit to eat with the peel are limes, pomegranates, bananas, and pineapple. The latter two especially freak people out.

  • I have a friend who eats whole strawberries and shrimp tails.

    • They should be sweet. Good strawberries do exist, but shitty ones are prevalent.

It depends on the context in which the strawberry exists. Usually I won’t eat the crown but sometimes I do. Specifically if there is a knife handy I probably don’t eat it. If there is no knive it depends how hungry I am/ how much pressure there is to eat fast.

  • Depends on how sweet they are. But sometimes yes. Sometimes I dont even notice the green part so good the strawberry is
