Can someone convince me DuckDuckGo isn’t the browser equivalent of controlled opposition? I struggle like I do with Firefox to see their behavior any other way.
They allow you to search with js off, which means no tracking on their domain. Quite a big difference.
They can’t stop tracking on other sites, quite obviously.

Why do you believe duckduckgo is a controlled opposition?
Because they sell themselves as a cute alternative to Google without offering a substantiative difference.
