I never seen the insides (or outside…) of an elevator so as far as i know they might be just teleporting me to the floor.
Lots of potential to make a conspiracy theory i’d actually believe in as it makes me feel really cool.

We had a “glass” elevator in a mall around here back when I was a kid, but everyone knows their just fancy LED screens. The same thing don’t move. That lurch you feel? That’s the teleportin’ happening
You’ve never seen what’s at the bottom of a lake? Could be dinosaurs. You’ve never seen what’s on the other side of the moon. Could be space nazis.
There are a lot of transparent elevators. But perhaps those are real elevators, and the others are transporters.
Yeah, i might also remember seeing one of those, but i think its just my mind playing tricks on me.
