    It works pretty well for me. It prints fast, it’s strong and has good layer adhesion. It does take quite a while to dry a new roll though. The cardboard spool holds a lot of water.

      It was under 50% relative humidity in my garage today, so I just put the spool right on the printer and hit “go” :)

      Over 50% and I usually run active filament from a dry box to the printer

      I haven’t gone to the trouble of pre-drying a spool yet

        It’s too humid around here for that, especially this time of year. I have to keep mine in a sealed box with desiccant. Putting a new spool in the box without drying it just uses up the desiccant quickly.

        At least PETG doesn’t get brittle like PLA when it’s wet. It just gets stringy.
