• “The memes of today, become the history of the future.” -Abraham Lincoln

  • “Give me a meme and a message board on which to post it, and I shall move the world”

    -Archimedes

  • You know what they say. Something about a pigeon flaps its wings which causes a storm to brew on the other side of the globe

  • Some humans are right about thinking that, if you believe in the butterfly effect.

    • people regularly obsess about that 1 little thing they did/didn’t do years ago and how it dramatically changed their life for the worse, whilst also fantasizing about how they could dramatically change some big/grand part of the present by making one change in the past, all at the same time as convincing themselves they’re incapable of changing the future.

      humans are silly creatures

      • Yeah if you go back in time 10,000 years and step on an ant, you might dramatically alter the future so we’d be up to WW6 by now and its pronounced “al-yoo-min-ee-um” everywhere on the planet.

Stepping on that ant today though? Pfft. Just an ant. Fuck it.

      • Yes. They are very unique. In exactly the same way everyone else is.

  • Well, in the same way that farting with the windows open is going to increase your cars range. Yes there is an effect, but is anyone really going to notice?

  • In the face of entropy, what can we really say will be long lasting and greatly affecting? Regardless, like someone else said, be a good butterfly, because it’s all we have in our insignificance.
