The spring steam sale is March 19th. Are there any games that you’ve been waiting to purchase that you might get then? Me personally I have been looking at Routine and Outer Worlds 2.

no probably not. too big of a backlog (actually replays game ive played 100 times over like a boss)

I’ve stopped buying new games I’ll probably never even launch, and started splurging on the DLC for the old games I actually play.

Ugh, dammit. I’ve got over 700 games in my steam library, quite a few I’ve probably never even played. I suppose I’ll just be adding more random games I may or may not play to satisfy that “retail” therapy itch. But, realistically I will be buying Slay the Spire 2 even though it may not be discounted too much since it’s newly EA.

9 daysThe next game I am paying for is 100% going to be Esoteric Ebb.
Imagine Disco Elysium, but instead of a weird cyberpunk alternative history real world type setting, it’s Forgotten Realms and uses D&D rules. That’s Esoteric Ebb.

Nothing specifically I’m looking for, but if the price is right I might pull the trigger on a few of my wishlist items, and then probably browse the store to add other things to it. I’ve got a ridiculous backlog of games, so there’s not a lot of motivation to pick up new stuff, but the sales tend to highlight stuff I wouldn’t normally search out or encounter randomly on the store, so I enjoy that aspect. Found a lot of very entertaining games that way.

It won’t be discounted, but I’m looking forward to Death Stranding 2 which is out that day.

9 daysI’ve only got $5 to spend so it depends on if any games on my wishlist go under 5, but that’s pretty rare so I probably won’t get anything.

The sales have not been exciting for me for quite a long time now. Everything on my wishlist, has sat at 10% ~ 15% for years, even when the games themselves have aged to where a deep discount should’ve happened but didn’t.
So now I just pirate whatever interests me, I have too much to play anyways.

9 daysI end up buying most VR games that come out on steam so i’m sure i’ll find interesting things :) maybe some that came out and where quickly forgotten as a lot are.

9 days🤷 I have all the stuff I’m watching on my waitlist over on https://isthereanydeal.com/ … so if something goes on a deep sale, it’ll let me know.

7 daysI recently grabbed division 2 and crew motorfest. Both on sale again for 90% off. More than enough content to keep me busy for a while.

7 daysCrimson Desert (on PS5). The reviews are very mixed, mostly because the game does not hold your hand. I’m not a fan of hard games, but I am a fan of exploration, so I’m hoping that when I inevitably hit a brick wall boss I can just wander around doing other things until I’m upgraded enough to be able to take them on. Puttering around exploring open worlds is usually my favorite part.
Then a Marvel Heroes Omega private server goes live on the 20th, so I’ll be playing that as well for the first time since it shut down in 2018.

9 daysI’ll probably pick up Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and depending on launch discounts and reviews, I might pick up Screamer as well, if the sale is still running by the 26th. There’s no point in picking up anything else if I don’t think I’ll get around to it by the next Steam sale.

I just bought Opus Magnum which is on sale right now so maybe nothing, haven’t had any games I’ve been eyeing except that

I am considering Tainted Grail, I have heard good things about it. Also looking forward to Screamer and seeing how that is.
Screamer wont be on sale most likely, but Tainted Grail might be. If its less than $30 USD I will probably get it.
