There’s really something wrong about how aggressive Japanese media companies are regarding copyright.
These companies are more than happy to shoot themselves in the foot just to win every DMCA and copyright claim possible.

Japan has always had some of the most aggressive copywriting laws. It’s why there is very little archival or preservation efforts there.
