That is really stretching the definition of “leak”. Leak implies some kind of malfeasance, like someone “on the inside” releasing the files in an unauthorized fashion. Sounds like they did exactly what they intended to do, where they intended to do it, someone fucked up, perhaps unknowingly, and oopsied the timeline of encryption. It could have even been intentional to garner attention and boost sales.
