    Fun fact, they got their prize taken away the display taken down after a week because the organizers were told found out what this is. They got to keep the ribbons though.

      Poling said the state fair board considered stripping him of his awards, but decided to let him keep his ribbons.

      It was only removed after being on display for a week

      When asked why Poling’s miniature was removed, a state fair spokesperson said “entries submitted to the fair routinely reviewed throughout the event.”

        Im still not sure why it was removed. Im not sure what the event was even for, but it looks like a showcasing of art projects? In which case, why remove it? It has connections to profane work, but is not of itself profane. Does having connections to profane works devalue the attatched piece? Does the piece not stand on its own merits?

            To be fair to Republicans - they are staunchly against porn, refuse to partake in viewing and stand against it’s availability. And given that, had any Republican been in charge of this competition, they would have immediately recognized the subject and disqualified the miniaturist the moment it was submitted.

          Did you see the couch stain? I don’t think that necessarily makes it bad enough to take down, but it’s subtle so you have missed it and it’s the part that is the most “objectionable” for lack of a better word.

    I used to work for the company upstairs in the same building as the inspiration for this diorama. There was a video where he went out and let a lady in after hours and I was like holy fuck I know those stairs… and that door… for about 6 months I walked past that door and never saw the guy, the blinds always closed. But eventually I found out they discovered a tenant filming porn in the building and they kicked him out. And I was like I fucking new it!

    I mean, until someone told me what it actually is referencing, I assumed it was about The Office. It looks like the same room they did all the cut-away talk to the camera bits in. 🤷‍♂️

    I don’t watch commercial, live-action porn. If it’s live action at all, it’s literally home-made. Porn with production value actually kinda sucks.

        Nah, it’s probably more a taste kinda thing. I dislike most produced porn for a variety of reasons, some being unsure on how ethical it is. I feel more comfortable with people sharing their personal nudes for people to see so I generally prefer amateur. Amateur also tends to have more realistic standards for beauty and sexiness? You get less of the cookie cutter huge dicks and either huge tits or barely past teen stuff.

        There’s also sometimes just a more general preference for less… produced/company/money made stuff even outside porn. Cosplay I generally am uninterested in the lewd stuff, but even outside it I like seeing people who worked hard on their outfits on their own time, and am far less interested in professional cosplayers who have whole teams etc.

        So sometimes it’s just preference, not we didn’t see the right ones.

        It’s got an N shape in my experience. Stuff someone recorded just because the’re horny sucks. When they know how to operate a camera then it’ll be the most genuine fulfllment of whatever specific thing you’re into. When they’re being payed to do it you can tell everything’s kinda stilted and it sucks. When they have enough budget and acting skills to make it theater quality then it’s good again (though I’ve rarely seen that for whatever reason).

    It kind of bothers me we don’t have a gay porn equivalent to this. We have some hilariously bad stuff that’s worthy of mockery and recognition. The porne ultimatum comes to mind as hilariously bad.
