And when you strip out all the facial/tonal cues and general body language… Yeah, everyone is going to act like the people who can’t pick up on that stuff. Because none of us can pick up on it on message boards. Hell, think about the “/s” and how people would react if the majority insisted everyone literally say “I’m done being sarcastic now”. Obviously you’re going to see parallels in communication issues.
