I was not aware of that.
Blasphemy!
Frog = pretty
Toad = chonky
Toad = chonky
We call these frogs, though…

I think you uploaded the wrong picture, that’s clearly a toad.
And they have the cutest little butts! Rain frogs are too cool.

You can’t fool me! That’s just a potato with legs.
That butt looks like every overweight person’s butt ive ever seen lol
Can confirm.
Source: Am overweight
And who says chonky ain’t pretty??? 😤
Dumb fucks thats who. As Freddie Mercury once said and I agree: Fat bottomed girls, You make the rockin’ world go 'round
People not chonky
Hey! Don’t talk about Princess Peachs loyal subjects like that! They hang out in damp dungeons with lizards. They never know when their next meal is going to come. So OBVIOUSLY you eat everything you find!
I think they are called Toads because they are toadstools, aka mushrooms.
we thought you was a toad
DO. NOT. SEEK. THE. TREASURE.
I’m pretty sure my good friend Jeremy would disagree. I’m gonna ask him next time I help him drink his wine.
Maybe a better organization would be : don’t lick, ok to lick, and the lick expands conciousness and is vital to space travel.
That doesn’t work though because some of the best lickable ones are tree frogs. Waxy Monkey Tree Frogs have a whatchacall it, not alkaloid, that is a super opiate like 1,000x morphine or something, then there are other drugs on other tree frogs. Then some toads have psychadelics on their skin as toxin. Most all tree frogs or toads have toxic secretions though as I understand it.
Hello
We’not into licking. Also, whatever
I think of toads and newts as being more terrestrial, while frogs and salamanders are more aquatic. Obviously they’re all amphibious, but frogs and salamanders like to keep their skin wet, but I’ve seen totally dry and dusty toads.
You got newts and salamanders (somewhat) backward:
From Wikipedia: Unlike other members of the family Salamandridae, newts are semiaquatic, alternating between aquatic and terrestrial habitats. Not all aquatic salamanders are considered newts, however.
“She turned me into a salamander!”
“A salamander?!”
“I got better and drier”
I think it’s the same with turtles and tortoises
I feel like turtles can be partially to fully aquatic, but tortoises are land based only
I thought that was the case for frogs and toads too.
The Surinam Toad is entirely aquatic. ┐( ∵ )┌
Editing to add: I looked up images of this creature and DO NOT DO THAT. Ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew
that’s such a toad thing to say.
