• Cuboid Keeper was already on my wishlist and showed up as the cheapest game at 1.59 CAD. Notable because it currently has a 100% positive rating (though only 11 reviews). Released in 2019, too. I added the game to my wishlist because the same people (person? Website seems to suggest it’s just one guy) made Eventide Matter, a short space resource gathering/building/upgrading game.

    • Nier Automata (yes I seriously haven’t played this yet)
    • Silksong (yes… I know)
    • Doom dark ages
    • Ghost of Tsushima

    More obscure games

    • Find Matt’s Cats (from the dev of Epic Battle Fantasy… If you haven’t played them he’s made more games since early flash days)
    • Manor Lords
    • Mount and Blade 2
    • I’ve been playing through the first Hollow Knight and don’t know why I slept on it for so long (but am glad I did as I get to currently experience it).

You can download a Steam Deck intro video where Game Mode boots up with her walking up to deliver a package.

  • I’ve already got it, but Dishonored is $1.99 USD, and definitely worth it for ten times that amount even after all these years.

  • I think I’m gonna pick up Little Kitty Big City and I don’t care who judges me for it!

I was waiting for the sale to buy Elden Ring or DS3. Been wanting to replay them, this time with mods. But it seems they skipped this sale… of course they did.

    And it’s shit… agaaaaa-in 🎶

FR, 30 games on my list, only 6 hit their historical lows, and 2 of which I had already decided they’re too high for me anyway.

24 either didn’t go on sale or didn’t hit their historical low.

I grabbed The Ninja Gaiden Master Collection (Fuck Sigma, I’m in it for NG3RE), Blue Revolver (Like, fine I suppose I’m running out of shmups, so I’ll try and figure out what put me off about it the first time), Counterclocking (I’ll support any new action game), and Carter’s Quest (I’ll support any new action game)

It’s hard for me to justify buying anything since my job is so crap. I have the money, I just feel spiteful and angry at capitalism.

  • Spent 40$ on a bunch of older games and some more Niche Stuff I’ve been wanting. I also picked up Cave Story after a friend suggested it. I’ve been eyeing the RE4 Remake but I still need to beat 2. Overall went over my budget by 15$

What have you scored over there? I picked up WallWorld, Oblivion, and Rôki.

      • Nothing, yet. I getg paid next week XD

Thankully it will still be running, could do with a few new games, though I’m aiming for things with native Linux ports mostly even if there are otehrs I would rather play just to support ditching Microslop and not relying on Valve to make everything work.

    • Ah glad you mentioned that because I had the base game on my wishlist and saw it for under $2 and just added that.

But now, looking more closely, I’m a bit confused. I see the DLC bundles, but only one of the DLCs (other than the soundtrack) has a price, though the others are a mix of Free and N/A. Going into bundle details does show a price for the N/A ones but I’m just confused about what’s going on there. Are the DLCs only available through the bundles and that’s why they don’t have their own prices unless you dig a bit?

Anyways, they are all 90% off.

Though with the way valve handles bundles, at least it isn’t really an issue, whatever is going on. It’s refreshing that they don’t try to nickel and dime you and even warn you if you have a game in a cart when a bundle with that game is cheaper (because you already have the other games and it still gives you the bundle discount without needing to buy those games again).

    • I have the original one and I might just do this to get it to work well on the deck. The OG version is kinda janky control wise.

    • The first two games were already given away before multiple times for free. Not that surprising but good for anyone who missed those.

  • The only one I have my eye on (for now) is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and basically because it never gets discounted.

Could be fun to punch a few Nazis, even if only digitally.

    • And not just punching, but full-on wind up and let it rip homerun swings with a shovel to the face (which goes CLANG!! and breaks the shovel) just never got old. Highly recommend!
